Zoran is a researcher at the Institute of Public Finance with fields of interest in public sector economics, local government finances, and budget and budgetary process. Zoran holds a PhD from Vienna University of Economics and Business. Zoran was a Deputy CEO at University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Deputy State Secretary (Central Office for Development Strategy), Adviser to the Prime Minister (Government of the Republic of Croatia), a Member of the Coordinating body for the preparation and supervision of the Pre-accession economic programme implementation (PEP), and a Senior Economist for USAID Project 'Assistance to the Deputy Prime Minister', Croatia.

Anikó did her PhD studies in Economics at Central European University, Budapest. Her research interests are applied econometrics, health economics, labour and demographic economics. Anika works as a senior researcher at the Institute of Economics, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies in Budapest, Hungary and is a recipient of the "Momentum" (Lendület) grant of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, to establish the Health and Population research team.

Ana received her master's degree and doctorate in the field of health economics at the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management in the Netherlands, where she also received the NVTAG award for the best publication by a young researcher in health economics. She is the winner of the three-year Veni grant of the Netherlands Organization for Science and a 5-year research grant of the Croatian Science Foundation, and currently works as assistant professor and Vicedean at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, Croatia.

Florence is currently full professor of Economics at the University Paris-Dauphine, researcher at the Laboratory of Economics Dauphine (LEDA-LEGOS), associate researcher at the Institute for Research and Documentation in Health Economics. She is also Country Team Leader of the French part of SHARE project (Survey of Health Age and Retirement in Europe). In addition, she is a member of the National Consultative Committee of Ethics, member of the National Council of Universities in Economics, member of the scientific board of the National Health Insurance Fund, and vice-president of the French association for Health Economist and member of board of the European (EUHEA) and International (IHEA) Associations for health economics. Her research is in the field of health economics, focusing in particular on the analysis of inequalities in health, on the determinants of health status, use of care and demand for insurance, and finally on the evaluation of health systems regulation policies.

Dubravko is a Senior Adviser at the Monetary and Economic Department of the BIS. Dubravko leads outreach efforts to central banks, contributes to the BIS analysis of the global economy, and acts as Secretary to the Group of Governors from Small Open Economies. Before joining the BIS in 1999, Dubravko worked in the Fiscal Affairs, European and Asian Departments of the IMF (1990-99), and the Economics Institute Zagreb (1982-89). He studied economics at the University of Pittsburgh (PhD, 1990), University of Minnesota (MA, 1986) and University of Zagreb (BA, 1981).

Valentina works as a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Economic Research in Ljubljana, where she works in the field of healthcare and long-term care, and is also the president of the IER Scientific Council. In her previous jobs, she worked as an advisor to the minister in the cabinet of the Minister of Health, as an advisor to the general director of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia, as president or member of the council of the Slovenj Gradec General Hospital, Ormož Psychiatric Hospital and a member of the ZZZS Assembly. Her work relates to health insurance, health system organization, health technology evaluation, and long-term care. Valentina received PhD at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and in 2021 she became a full professor in the field of Economics.

Shlomi is a Full Professor in political philosophy. He specializes in contemporary theories of distributive justice, egalitarianism, and justice in health. He is the author of Health, Luck, and Justice (Princeton, 2010), Equality and Opportunity (Oxford, 2013), and Why Inequality Matters (Cambridge, 2016). He has published on justice and equality in a variety of journals such as Utilitas, Economics & Philosophy, Politics, Philosophy, & Economics, Ratio, the Journal of Political Philosophy, the Journal of Applied Philosophy, and the Journal of Moral Philosophy.

Šime is an Associate professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) where he obtained his PhD. He has been the country team leader of the SHARE (The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe) study in Croatia since 2014 for the 4th consecutive wave and a representative of the FEB – Scientific Partner Institution – in SHARE-ERIC. His primary research interests are health economics, the economics of ageing, health economy and survey analysis.
